Inclusion

Our Commitment to Inclusion

At Becket Primary School, every child matters. We believe that all children should feel welcome, valued, and supported to achieve their very best. Our aim is for every pupil to keep up, not catch up, by giving them the right help at the right time.

We celebrate diversity and make sure that children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), those who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL), children eligible for Free School MealsService children, and Looked After children have the same opportunities to succeed as everyone else.

We work closely with families and specialists to remove barriers to learning and create a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive. Our teaching is designed to be ambitious and accessible for all, so that every child feels confident, included, and ready for the future.

How Parents Can Help
Partnership with parents is key to every child’s success. You can help by talking to us about your child’s needs, attending parent meetings, and supporting learning at home through reading, homework, and positive routines. If you have any concerns or ideas, please speak to your child’s teacher or our inclusion team—we’re here to work together, so every child can shine.
