The primary topic is History focusing upon Civil rights movements in the USA highlighting of the influence and progress made by Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King.

Our Class book is Letters from the Lighthouse by Emma Carroll. It is set during WW2 following two children who were evacuated from London after the bombing raids and the disappearance of their sister.

Within Science the topic of gathering and interpreting data is explored including:

• Reviewing tables, charts and graphs
• Completing and analysing results from practical experiments

In Mathematics the focus is upon problem solving.
