The primary topic is History focusing upon Civil rights movement in the USA highlighting of the influence and progress made by Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King.

Our Class book is Letters from the Lighthouse by Emma Carroll. It is set during WW2 following two children who were evacuated from London after the bombing raids and the disappearance of their sister.

Within Science the topics of classification and living things are explored including:

• Categorising animal and plants based upon their characteristics
• Linnaean system
• Microorganism

In Mathematics the focus is upon perimeter, area and volume.
